Remember when the weekend was the thing we all waited for - beers with mates, a surf or a fish or just a great meal with family and friends?
We wanted to build those elements deep into the fabric of our redevelopment of 18A Ocean Street, Budgewoi - building the perfect place for the perfect weekend.
It’s The perfect spot for a weekend away
Across the street from the newly renovated Budgewoi Hotel, and blocks away from the lake and the surf, 18A Ocean Street is perfectly situated in the most perfect spot in the most magical part of the New South Wales Central Coast.
Only an hour and a half drive north of Sydney’s CBD and it’s like being on a whole different planet - there’s no reason not to start your weekend on a Friday night, and finish it with an early morning swim on Monday morning
The apartment
The first part of the redevelopment of 18A Ocean Street available for booking is The Apartment.
Located on the ground floor and opening up to the newly constructed outdoor kitchen, bar and dining area - The Apartment accommodates up to 4 Adults in both the King sized bed and the Queen sized sofa.
Entirely self contained, with a kitchen, dining area and washer/dryer The Apartment has everything you need for a weekend getaway, and with it’s super fast Starlink internet connection this is the perfect work from (not quite) home location.
The Apartment is also the ultimate Netflix and Chill location - with a projector screen that descends from the bedroom ceiling making movie night in bed a cinematic experience.

Enjoy some of the fastest internet speeds on the coast. 18A Ocean Street is connected to high speed satellite internet, making it the perfect spot to work not quite from home, while enjoying the beach and the lakes. We won’t tell your boss if you don’t!

When we were offered the old steak grill from the Budgewoi Hotel, we knew it meant that a “BBQ Area” wasn’t going to be good enough. So we built an outdoor kitchen and bar to allow you to cook up all the family favourites - deep fry fish and chips, make crispy pizza in the pizza oven, and of course cook a spectacular steak on the grill

With a specially prepared wicket, traditional wheelie bin stumps - it’s time to take out the backyard Ashes.
Everything is here and ready to go, so grab a bat and make your country proud

Want to have a go at catching d8nner - grab a line and head to the beach or the lake - the only thing you will need is some bait

Garry and his mate Ronnie are on hand to offer local tips and advice whenever you need them during your stay - between them they provide (mostly useful) hints and tips to making the most of your time on the coast.
Garry grew up around here, and knows the best places to grab a beer, drop a line in and how to work the bidet - Ronnie didn’t, so will help with getting you connected to the internet and making the lights work.
Consider them your partners in crime for having the best break ever.
